Incoming Ph.D. Student · School of Computing, Boise State University.
I am an incoming Ph.D. student at the School of Computing, Boise State University, starting in Fall 2026 under the supervision of Prof. Yu Zhang at the Next-generation Computer vision and Embodied intelligence (NICE) Lab. My research focuses on 3D scene understanding, occupancy prediction, and embodied AI — building systems that perceive, represent, and reason about complex 3D environments.
Previously, I was a Research Assistant in the Computer Vision Lab at the University of Virginia, advised by Prof. Zezhou Cheng, where I worked on multi-frame 3D perception and transformer-based scene understanding.
Broadly, I am interested in how visual systems integrate temporal, geometric, and structural information to form coherent 3D representations of complex environments. I aim to advance fundamental methods in visual scene modeling and contribute to applications in robotics, ecology, and embodied agents.
